I remember when…

I distinctly remember my parents sitting at the dining table, counting money, cash in their hands, mumbling as they were counting.

They worried that they wouldn’t be able to provide a roof over our heads, food and our education. They saw taking care of the family as their priority, over their wellbeing and definitely over fun. They took money very seriously.

Because of that, I also had a serious attitude towards money-

  • Only spending it when I needed to & saving the rest
  • I got a uni degree for a good paying job, where I worked *my* butt off

If you know where to look, you’ll find the main parts of YOUR money story and begin connecting the dots.
