- constantly exhausted & burnt out
- feeling like time is against you
- always comparing yourself to everyone and feeling like a failure
- hustling to finally make it & show the world your success
If you said YES to any of these… then you are in the right place!
I help second generation women to let go of cultural pressure and stop overworking.
I know what you’re going through…
My immigrant parents made sacrifices that I’ll forever be grateful for. And because of that, I became the reliable daughter who always did what she was told in order to make them proud. I went to tutoring, studied hard, got good grades, didn’t focus on boys, went to a respectable uni and earned a decent salary at a stable job.
The hours I put into that job was insaaane. I worked before and after hours and on weekends. It just felt like it was neverending and there was ALWAYS something to do. When I was on holidays, I’d feel unproductive and guilty for not having anything to do so I’d fill up my time.
I didn’t know it at the time, but I was proving to the world that I could do it all and achieve it all. That I was the ‘perfect’ human… If you’re a second generation woman working yourself to the ground right now, you’re in the right place!
I’m also a second generation woman with immigrant parents
My parents immigrated to Australia about 30 years ago and I grew up here. They learnt to speak English (still not fluently!) and found jobs while also maintaining some Vietnamese and Chinese traditions.
